Rated for thermal protection and ember and scratch resistance, Shelter® Type 2 L-Series Stove Boards are designed to protect combustible floors and walls under and around wood stove heating appliances. Manufactured in the USA, they’re available in 8 sizes and 3 finishes to fit the dimensions and aesthetics of any wood stove installation configuration.

Crafted from emboss-printed steel and a specially formulated fiber board, these UL-listed stove boards offer protection against heat, coals, soot, and ashes produced by wood heating appliances. They may be used under the heating appliances themselves or on the walls behind them. The Connector Kit (ULCK) is designed to combine two boards safely while the Wall Spacer Kit (ULSK) helps facilitate installations for stove boards used as wall shields. Each Type 2 Stove Boards is tested to UL1618 standards and made in the USA.
